DAY 12 - Who is Jesus - KING

Luke 1:32 (NKJV)

'He will be great and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. And he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.' 

Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV)

'For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.'

Rev 19:16 (NKJV)

'And he has on his robe and on his thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS.'

There is no doubt in my mind that this prophecy in Isaiah is referring to Jesus - not just an ordinary baby.

Angels appeared to three individuals and a group of shepherds to tell them about him, God spoke to Simeon and led a group of important Magi to follow a star because of his birth, and Herod killed a townfull of little boys to prevent him from becoming a king......

but you know, when God's got a plan, no earthly ruler, no ruthless ideology and no amount of secular protest will stop the return of the King of Kings!
