DAY 15 - Who is Jesus? - LIGHT FOR EVERYONE!

Luke 2:32
'A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people, Israel.' (NKJV)

Matt 2:2
'"Where is He who has been born King of the Jews?"'

At the time when Jesus lived, a 'gentile' was the name given to anyone who wasn't a Jew and the Jews thought they were special and believed they were God's chosen people.

Well, the fact is that they were the race chosen by God to bring God's Son into the world and through them God began to introduce Himself to the world. Jesus was one of them, a Jew, and when we meet Him finally, he'll still be a Jew by descent.

But He didn't come just to be King of the Jews. He's the LIGHT to bring God's revealed rescue plan of salvation to all people, all races, all nations.
